THEY WERE NICE ENOUGH TO SHARE PICTURES AND DETAILS ABOUT THEIR PROJECT, ALONG WITH ADVICE FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO MAY BE LOOKING TO BUILD A SWIMMING POOL.** ![](https://blog.presidentialpools.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/img-325.jpg) ### ***WHAT PROMPTED YOU TO BUILD A POOL?*** I was moving to Arizona and would be close to grandchildren. I knew they would want a pool, but their parents were hesitant to have one at their homes with young children. I decided it would be fun to be the party house! ### ***WHAT FEATURES WERE MOST IMPORTANT TO YOU IN DESIGNING YOUR POOL?*** I wanted a [water feature](https://www.presidentialpools.com/custom-pool-features-gallery/) for sure! I also wanted the kids to be able to dive safely, so I made sure it was deep enough for diving. I also wanted to be able to basically design my pool the way I wanted it. ![](https://blog.presidentialpools.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/img-417.jpg) ### ***WHY DID YOU CHOOSE PRESIDENTIAL POOLS, SPAS & PATIO AS YOUR POOL BUILDER?*** My builder uses them as a Preferred Provider, but for me it was being able to go to the [Presidential Pool Park](https://www.presidentialpools.com/presidential-pool-park-of-gilbert) and see everything in person!!   ### ***WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT YOUR POOL NOW?*** Everything!!!!! ### ***WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU OFFER TO THOSE JUST STARTING THE POOL BUILDING PROCESS?*** Do not hesitate to use Presidential! They stayed in my budget. They were always on schedule, and I didn't work with one person from Sales to the pool start-up that wasn't amazing to work with!!! ![](https://blog.presidentialpools.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/img-399.jpg) [![SEE MORE POOL BUILD STORIES](https://hubspot-no-cache-na2-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/cta/default/2652180/47e475d8-99b5-4c52-90d3-d9c4c3fc7152.png)](https://hubspot-cta-redirect-na2-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/cta/redirect/2652180/47e475d8-99b5-4c52-90d3-d9c4c3fc7152) [Pool Design](https://blog.presidentialpools.com/topic/pool-design), [Project Highlights](https://blog.presidentialpools.com/topic/project-highlights), [Testimonials](https://blog.presidentialpools.com/topic/testimonials) ## Read On ### [A Swimming Pool Designer's Backyard Nick Ludtke is a pool designer at Presidential Pools, Spas & Patio.
